Pedro Gomide
Production Manager
Born in Brazil, Pedro was strongly influenced by the diverse and deeply rooted traditions of his country. His ideals of unification begin in this rich culture. Throughout his life, Pedro has lived in countries on three continents, giving him a broad global perspective.
Pedro participated in the development of the trance scene in Brazil, by being one of premiere Chill-Out DJs playing at festivals throughout the country and producing indoor/outdoor events that incorporated workshops and performances.
Resident DJ and special events coordinator for CoSM in New York, he co-created the EntheoCentric Salon parties with Alex Grey and Eli Morgan. He developed with them the series of events, inspired by the Seventeenth Century French art salons; discussion, dance performance and multiple live painters were incorporated into an all night electronic music party model. Starting the evening with a visionary lecture, encouraging the creative spirit, gave the events depth with the energy from all the artists, sending a wave of cultural satisfaction throughout the party.
Being an events and music producer as well as an audio-visual technician, Pedro has performed, produced and managed gatherings at outdoor festivals, warehouses, clubs, lounges, Yoga studios and art centers, giving him the ability to create the right atmosphere for a pleasant and deep experience in any setting. Joining Reality Engine, Pedro helped to develop it into a world class Audio-Visual label and innovative multi-media production company.
After 4 years in NYC he moved to San Francisco to study Psycho-Acoustics and collaborate with groups such as Symbiosis Events and Eco-Gatherings.
Following a productive spring in San Francisco. Pedro joined Symbiosis, produced and performed at events such as How Weird Street Faire, Yuri’s Night at NASA and SeedSource 1.0, he working on the production of the Liminal Village with Naasko for Boom Festival.
